This Gibson Victory MVII CM, was produced in 1981 in their Nashville plant. This is a local trade-in, and in good overall condition. Includes a case, which appears to be original (or at least from the specific period).
The Victory was built between 1981 and 1983 as Gibson's entry into the emerging Superstrat market, and a significant departure from the guitars they had designed up to that point. It features Gibson's Top-Adjust bridge, Tim Shaw-designed humbuckers, and a body and neck crafted from Eastern Hard Rock Maple.
This is an excellent example of an innovative era in guitar history. Victory guitars are hard to come by, and this one would make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection.
